So this is my latest obsession - the Bilou range of shower creams, creams and body sprays.
You may have already seen them featured in some blogs and Instagram pages and I couldn't resist trying it out for myself. They're a bit more expensive than I would usually pay for a shower cream (at £3.99) as shower creams/gels don't last long in my house so I usually limit my spend for them at £2 but I'm also a sucker for some pretty packaging!
So what does it smell like and is it any good?
I honestly don't know how to describe the smell other than sugary. Like sugary doughnuts freshly baked maybe. I certainly felt like a tasty doughnut when showering lol. The smell is lovely and fresh, and I feel like the scent lasted on my skin maybe 1-2 hours. It possibly might have lasted longer but I've also been applying tinted body moisturiser to my skin about twice a day to try and get a healthy glow before we fly to Rome and the smell of that came back through after a while. This foams up really nicely and has a lot of coverage in it, which I've sometimes found doesn't happen with shower gels/foams that I've used previously and it annoys me to no end that I need to use half a bottle for one shower!
Overall - Lovely scent, the bright packaging is cheerful and eye-catching and this is definitely a new favourite. Some of the other scents I've spotted are Pink Melon, Fizzy Berry, Cotton Candy and Coco Cocktail and I want to try these out also as soon as possible. They're currently on a 3 for 2 offer at Superdrug however at least one of the fragrances seem to always be sold out at a time, so watch this space for when I get my hands on all 3 of my chosen scents!
