Dreaming of Italy

One week today we are travelling to Rome, Italy!

We have 3 and a half days to spend there and are desperately trying to cram everything in. As with our visit to Paris, I've researched and am trying to schedule everything in HOWEVER what I didn't plan for was that we are going to be there in the middle of an Italian holiday, Ferragosto. Meaning that some of the biggest attractions are going to be closed. No big deal though, because we've decided to go with the flow a bit for this holiday so we are going to some of the main attractions (e.g. the Colosseum, because how could we pass up the opportunity?!) but we are also going to some of the fountains, gardens, we'll aimlessly explore and try to visit Venice one of the days.

As with every holiday so far, I'm expecting nothing will go smoothly, but that's half the adventure, right?

Now to try and work out if there's a way to sneak my little furbabies into my suitcase and through the airport....
